August Pfluger is a Representative from Texas, born in Harris County in 1977. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, he served in the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserve. Pfluger worked on the National Security Council in 2019 and was elected to Congress in 2021. He was recently appointed as a manager for the impeachment proceedings of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro N. Mayorkas.
