Ayanna Pressley is a U.S. Representative from Massachusetts who was born in Chicago in 1974. After graduating from Francis W. Parker School and attending Boston University, she worked on the staff of Representative Joseph P. Kennedy II and Senator John Kerry. She served on the Boston City Council from 2010 to 2019 before being elected to Congress in 2018, where she currently serves.
