Daniel T. Kildee is a Representative from Michigan, born in Flint in 1958. A graduate of Flint Northern High School and Central Michigan University, he founded the Genesee County Land Bank and co-founded the Center for Community Progress. Before his congressional service, Kildee served on the Flint Board of Education, Genesee County Board of Commissioners, and as county treasurer from 1997 to 2009. He has represented Michigan in Congress since 2013.
