David J. Trone

David J. Trone is a U.S. Representative from Maryland, born in Cheverly on September 21, 1955. He graduated from Furman University in 1977 and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1985. An entrepreneur and business owner, Trone initially sought congressional nomination in 2016 before successfully winning election to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018 and serving through the present.
