Donald S. Beyer, Jr. is a U.S. Representative from Virginia who was born in Trieste, Italy, in 1950. After graduating from Gonzaga College High School and Williams College, he became an automobile dealer and served as lieutenant governor of Virginia from 1990 to 1998. He later served as U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein before being elected to Congress in 2015.
