Dwight Evans is a Representative from Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia in 1954. He graduated from Germantown High School and earned degrees from Community College of Philadelphia and La Salle University. Evans worked as a teacher and employment counselor before serving in the Pennsylvania state house from 1980 to 2016. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in a special election in 2016 and has been reelected since.
