Earl L. "Buddy" Carter

Earl L. "Buddy" Carter is a Representative from Georgia, born in Port Wentworth in 1957. He graduated from Robert W. Groves High School and earned degrees from Young Harris College and the University of Georgia. Carter worked as a pharmacist and business owner, serving on the Pooler city council and as mayor before becoming a state representative and senator, ultimately winning election to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2014.
