Garret Graves is a U.S. Representative from Louisiana, born in Baton Rouge in 1972. A graduate of Catholic High School, he attended universities in Alabama, Louisiana, and Washington, D.C. Prior to his congressional service, he worked on staff for several Louisiana senators and representatives, including John Breaux and Billy Tauzin, and served on various Senate and House committees focused on energy and commerce.
