Jerrold Nadler is a Representative from New York, born in Brooklyn in 1947. A graduate of Stuyvesant High School and Columbia University, he earned his law degree from Fordham University. Nadler served in the New York state assembly from 1977 to 1992 before being elected to Congress in a special election in 1992, where he has since been re-elected multiple times. He served as chair of the Judiciary Committee and was a manager in the 2020 presidential impeachment proceedings.
