John R. Curtis is a U.S. Representative from Utah, born in Ogden in 1960. After graduating from Skyline High School and attending the University of Utah, he earned a B.S. from Brigham Young University. Curtis served as Mayor of Provo from 2009 to 2017 and was elected to Congress in a special election in 2017, filling the vacancy left by Jason Chaffetz.
