Joseph D. Morelle is a U.S. Representative from New York, born in Utica in 1957. He graduated from Eastridge High School in 1975 and earned a B.A. from SUNY Geneseo in 1986. Morelle served in the New York state assembly and as a Monroe County legislator before being elected to Congress in a special election to fill the vacancy left by Louise Slaughter in 2018.
