Lloyd Doggett is a Representative from Texas, born in Austin in 1946. He graduated from Austin High School in 1964 and earned both his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Texas. Doggett served in the Texas state senate, was a justice on the Texas state supreme court, and taught law at the University of Texas. He was elected to Congress in 1995 and continues to serve.
