Lori Chavez-DeRemer

Lori Chavez-DeRemer is a Representative from Oregon who was born in Santa Clara County, California, in 1968. She graduated from Hanford High School and earned a B.S. from California State University, Fresno. Before entering politics, she worked as a substitute teacher, sales representative, and business owner. Chavez-DeRemer served on the Happy Valley City Council from 2005 to 2010 and was mayor from 2011 to 2018. She was elected to Congress in 2022.
