Madeleine Dean is a U.S. Representative from Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia in 1959. A graduate of Abington High School and La Salle University, she earned a law degree from Widener University. Before entering Congress in 2019, she served in the Pennsylvania state house of representatives and worked as a lawyer, educator, and columnist. She was a manager in the 2021 impeachment proceedings of President Donald J. Trump.
