Michael C. Burgess

Michael C. Burgess is a U.S. Representative from Texas, born in Rochester, Minnesota, in 1950. He graduated from Selwyn College Preparatory School and earned multiple degrees from North Texas State University and the University of Texas, including an M.D. As a physician, he was elected to Congress in 2003 and currently serves as chair of the Committee on Rules.
