Mike Collins is a U.S. Representative from Georgia, born in Jackson on July 2, 1967. A graduate of Piedmont Academy and Georgia State University, he is a business owner and trucking company executive. After an unsuccessful congressional nomination bid in 2014, Collins was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2022, taking office in January 2023.
