Nick LaLota is a U.S. Representative from New York, born in Bay Shore in 1978. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and Hofstra University, he served in the Navy from 2000 to 2007 and worked as a stockbroker. LaLota has held various political staff positions, served on local boards, and was a county elections commissioner before being elected to Congress in 2023.
