Patrick Ryan is a U.S. Representative from New York, born in Kingston in 1982. A West Point graduate and U.S. Army veteran, he later earned a master's degree from Georgetown University. Before entering Congress, Ryan served as Ulster County executive and worked in business. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in a special election in 2022, filling a vacancy and subsequently winning reelection.
