Richard McCormick is a Representative from Georgia, born in Las Vegas in 1968. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in Portland and earned degrees from Oregon State University and Morehouse School of Medicine. McCormick served in the U.S. Marine Corps and Navy, and worked as an instructor at Morehouse College and Georgia Tech. After an unsuccessful congressional bid in 2020, he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2023.
