Ron Estes

Ron Estes is a U.S. Representative from Kansas, born in Topeka in 1956. He graduated from Union City High School in Tennessee and earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Tennessee Technological University. Before entering Congress, Estes worked as a businessman and farmer, and served as Sedgwick County treasurer from 2005 to 2011 and Kansas state treasurer from 2011 to 2017. He was elected to Congress in a special election in 2017 and has been serving since then.
