Christopher A. Coons

Christopher A. Coons is a U.S. Senator from Delaware, born in Greenwich, Connecticut, in 1963. He holds degrees from Amherst College, Yale University Law School, and Yale Divinity School. Coons served as New Castle County Council president and County Executive before being elected to the Senate in a 2010 special election, subsequently winning reelections in 2014 and 2020. He currently chairs the Senate Select Committee on Ethics.
