Cynthia M. Lummis is a U.S. Senator from Wyoming who previously served in the U.S. House of Representatives. Born in Cheyenne, she graduated from the University of Wyoming with multiple degrees and worked as a rancher and lawyer. She served in the Wyoming state legislature, as state treasurer, and was elected to Congress in 2009 before winning a Senate seat in 2020.
