John W. Hickenlooper is a U.S. Senator from Colorado, born in Narbeth, Pennsylvania, in 1952. A graduate of Haverford School and Wesleyan University, he worked as a geologist and brewpub owner before entering politics. He served as mayor of Denver from 2003 to 2011 and governor of Colorado from 2011 to 2019, and was elected to the Senate in 2020 for a term ending in 2027.
