Jon Ossoff is a U.S. Senator from Georgia, born in Atlanta in 1987. A graduate of The Paideia School, Georgetown University, and the London School of Economics, he previously worked as a legislative assistant for Representative Hank Johnson and an investigative journalist. Elected to the Senate in January 2021, Ossoff took office shortly thereafter, representing his home state in the U.S. Congress.
